Campaign: Takeover & lead generation, 1 Feb – 12 Oct 2026
Platforms: Google Ads + Facebook & Instagram (Meta Ads)
+80% total lead growth | +21% Google Ads conversions | −15% cost per conversion
Royal Windows has supplied and fitted windows, doors and conservatories to Dublin homes for more than 25 years, working out of Santry and with over 750 completed projects behind it.
Every window company in Dublin faces the same problem online. New windows are a once-in-a-decade purchase, homeowners collect several quotes before committing, and the companies competing for them all bid on the same few searches. An ad that earns a click but not a quote request just adds to the bill.
In February 2026, Go Click Media was engaged to take over the Google Ads account and manage the full paid campaign, with one clear objective: more quote requests from Dublin homeowners for the same budget, arriving every month rather than in bursts. As part of the takeover, we advised Royal Windows to add Facebook & Instagram (Meta Ads) as a second source of leads.
The Challenge
Royal Windows came to Go Click Media with a clear growth ambition: more homeowners requesting a quote, more consistently, without a proportional rise in what each one cost. The business had the reputation and the track record. The goal was to make the pipeline match.
- A track record to beat: this was an established Google Ads account with an existing spend level and results, so any change had to show up as a clear improvement on the same budget.
- Quote before purchase: nobody buys windows from an ad. The campaign had to earn a quote request from people still weeks away from deciding.
- Crowded local search: window and door companies across Dublin compete for the same searches, which pushes up what each click costs.
- A steady diary: a fitting team needs work booked every month. One busy month followed by an empty one costs as much as a slow year.
Strategy & Execution
From the first week, every decision was measured against one number: what a quote request cost, and how many arrived.
Rebuilding Google Ads Around Quote Requests
We restructured the existing Google Ads account so budget flowed to the searches and audiences that produced quote requests, not just clicks. The same budget then bought 46% more clicks, and conversions rose by 21%. That directly addressed the crowded-search problem: Royal Windows was no longer paying more to stand still.
Adding Facebook & Instagram (Meta Ads) as a Second Channel
Search only reaches homeowners who are already looking. To reach the ones who had not started yet, we recommended Meta Ads and launched lead campaigns using forms that open inside Facebook and Instagram, so a homeowner could request a quote without leaving the app. Audiences combined a broad homeowner audience, lookalikes built from existing customers, interest-based audiences and retargeting of people who had already engaged, all focused on Royal Windows’ Dublin service area.
Budget Management: Steady, Not Spiky
Rather than chasing short spikes, spend was managed for an even monthly flow of leads across both channels. Google Ads spend rose by just 3% over the period, while results rose far faster. That is how the quote-before-purchase and steady-diary challenges were met at the same time.

What The Numbers Mean
More conversions, lower cost, almost identical spend
Combining the improvement on Google Ads with the introduction of Meta Ads, total leads grew by 80% compared with the equivalent period under the previous management. On Google Ads alone, conversions grew by 21% while spend rose by just 3%, and the cost per conversion fell by 15%. That combination – more output from search, a new social channel added, lower unit cost across both – is what an 80% lead growth figure looks like in practice.
Significantly more traffic for a marginal increase in spend
Clicks grew by 46% on a spend increase of just 3%. More qualified visitors reached the Royal Windows website every month, without any proportional rise in what that traffic cost. For a business that books fitting teams weeks in advance, the steady month-on-month flow of quote requests was as valuable as the total volume.
Meta Ads opened a second pipeline at a competitive cost per lead
By introducing Facebook and Instagram advertising alongside Google Ads, Go Click Media gave Royal Windows access to homeowners who had not yet started searching. Leads arrived through in-app forms on both platforms, reaching a different audience at a cost per lead that sat below the blended campaign average. This channel did not exist before the Go Click Media engagement; it now contributes a significant share of overall enquiries each month.
Why It Worked
The right channels, chosen by data
Google Ads captured homeowners already in market searching; Meta Ads reached those who had not started yet. Budget moved to whichever channel produced quote requests more cheaply, and the numbers decided, not habit.
Targeting built around homeowners, not browsers
Audiences were built from the people who actually request quotes: existing customers, engaged visitors and homeowners in the service area. Clicks that would never become a quote were cut out.
Active management, not passive delivery
The improvement held for eight months, averaging around 60 conversions a month, because the account was checked and adjusted continuously, not left to run. Steady results are the product of steady management.
The right connection makes the difference
The account did not need a bigger budget. It needed someone accountable for what each lead cost. Go Click Media took on that job in February and has reported against it every month since.
Conclusion
Since Go Click Media took over in February 2026, Royal Windows has grown its total lead volume by 80% compared to the equivalent period before the engagement. That growth came from two directions: Google Ads conversions rose significantly on near-identical spend, with the cost per conversion falling at the same time, while a brand-new Meta Ads channel introduced by Go Click Media added a consistent stream of additional leads at a competitive cost per enquiry. Across eight months of active management, the pipeline has remained steady and predictable, month after month.
